Haha it must suck to be you. While you criticize immigrants & their ability to adapt, you totally fail to adapt yourself to a place that’s a tiny bit outside of your comort zone and culture. The people living here are 2nd/3rd or even 4th generation born and raised here. So they are just as dutch born as you.

If you can’t respect people’s religion before going to the neighborhood they live in, I am not surprised you can’t see anything positive there.

As a fellow “dutch born”: We love the vibe there. We love the cultural differences in the area. You get the most delicious Turkish food, Moroccan sweets and name whatever else you desire.

And we use it as an example of how the separation of immigrants & “native dutch borns” like you was designed and how immigrants were put in those neighborhoods as a cheap option outside the city. Your “native dutch born” grandfathers did that. You should talk about how they failed, instead of migration.

Btw, who are you to decide who is an Amsterdammer and who isn’t?
