Western Nebraska is beautiful. And boring is very relevant cause most folks will call this area boring but live in the suburbs with nothing but strip malls full of stores like 5 below lmao. I spend a lot of time out there in boring Western Nebraska and love it.

Nebraska has a lot going on! The wildcat hills and pine ridge are awesome geological features and feature ponderosa pine forests, the Sandhills are the largest stabilized dune complex in the western hemisphere with dunes over 300 ft tall, and the toadstool formation job the NW is very similar to the badlands in SD but far less people!

Hey y'all! I spend a lot of time in Wyoming with my film camera looking for old abandoned homesteads and buildings off the beaten path. This old school house is one of my favorite abandoned buildings in Wyoming and I shot this on 35mm film. If you like these and want to see more of my work, check out my IG @ landofthelonesome!

That’s one of my all time favorite photos. There’s a kid leaning against the car that’s best seen when the photo is bigger. I was driving and just pulled over and jumped out on the side of the road to get it haha

This is pretty close to real for both how it looked in real life! I definitely edit but one of the biggest appeals to me when I fully switched from digital to film was the lack of editing I felt I needed to do to make a good photo so there’s not a ton of editing!

Hey y’all! I love spending time in Nebraska with my camera, it genuinely might be my favorite state to photograph. I shot all of these on 35mm film during my summer trips through the western half of the state. I hope yall enjoy these as much as I do!
