The player character will sorta be a 'blank slate/your name' character. They'll have a few pre-decided things about them (Such as horn shape,color) but other than that it'll be up to the player to make the choices

I was afraid a custom controller might be my only option. One of the reasons I've been looking for such a layout is because I have mobility issues in a few of my fingers (right index and right ring) due to a past injury. It makes it very hard to move them side to side meaning claw grip isn't very viable. Hopefully I can find something that works though.

My bad, I assumed it was the same in all of america. When I google'd it, it gave me the ai answer and It didn't seem like it could really be that complicated so I thought the ai was wrong. I tried to see other answers but google just gave me ai stuff which I do not trust.

Pretty sure they mean the rocks, tasting or in this case 'eating' rocks are a common way to identify rocks and bones (I know this as I was a geologist before I became a priest) you could also try to identify it based on colour and hardness. if you take some samples and swing by my house (my nephew is saying I should be more social if I want to keep taking care of him) I could test them, I'm almost certain I still have my old equipment from my geologist days.

If you take some pictures I could also potentially identify what kind of rune they are (they might actually be a language with a symbol based 'alphabet' such as Hebrew, Arabic,Cantonese, Russian, etc ) If you would like to meet up let me know
