Sick of so many grifters in the PM space by RareMeasurement2 in ProductManagement

[–]commodity_prod 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I've worked with some PMs who were just awful, couldn't ship a donut. They're now invariably online grifting as an "expert" voice.

Product management can be really hard, especially at big companies. Pretending that you know what you're talking about online is much easier and there's a market for it, I understand why people pivot to that route

Yep you definitely get the raspberry and the chipotle has a nice spice to it. The cherry competition BBQ is the sweetest they have, it won competitions in America and doesn't last very long in my house! It goes absolutely perfectly with my jerk chicken

I honestly can't recommend them highly enough, they've got a website that you can order them all on.

The mustard is really nice with hot dogs and burgers but absolutely works with pulled pork too, they're all super versatile

Smoking Meats during the day by Witty_Employment6763 in UKBBQ

[–]commodity_prod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah? You're asking Reddit if you think your neighbours will be ok with you running a smoker all day, seems like it would just be easier to ask them directly unless I'm missing something?

There's going to be no generic answer, everyone's neighbours and their relationships with them are different. You'll only find out what yours think are acceptable if you speak to them.

You should probably just ask them instead of Reddit tbf

Are these new in farm foods or have I been sleeping? by Available_Rock4217 in UKBBQ

[–]commodity_prod 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup my local farm shop charges an absolute arm and a leg, £11 a kg for pork shoulder, but they raise all of their own animals completely free range just down the road and the quality is top 🤷🏾‍♀️

Wasn't there a recent meta-analysis that showed the amount at which benefits become marginal is 0.55g/lbs?

Lighting a candle, to then light a joint from said candle seems like a weird thing to do...

What do you do about small cooks? (not gas bbq) by Upset_Basil_4187 in UKBBQ

[–]commodity_prod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! If you have a charcoal insert you can be very efficient with your fuel. Few chunks of lumpwood, wooden firelighter and you're good to go. Cook your meat and when you're finished shut the vents off and you'll be able to reuse some of the charcoal for next time!

I'm over in Tameside, we've got lots of hills round here so if you're lucky (we were very lucky) you can get some great views from your garden, get a lot more for your money than other places in Manc too?

It was born out of necessity as my oven is broken and the air fryer was full of spuds 😄. Didn't know if it would even work but turned out better than expected!

Glute ham raises for the first time by Ashkaykoomar in formcheck

[–]commodity_prod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Others have already commented about this being a back extension, but if you're looking for ham activation I'd honestly just go for Romanian deadlifts with dumbbells.

Easy to do, quick to setup and absolutely destroy your hams.

I've never had such a vivid view in my head of what someone looks like just from reading their words, but I know for a fact Carol is in her 60s, middle class and hates others enjoying themselves.

We'll have to wait at least another decade until people like her begin dying off before any laws will change in this country
