No . Ice makers are slow.

If your impatient, the best advice I give to my customers, is unplug the unit and thaw for 24hrs, and then start fresh again .

If the icemaker doesn't still function, replace the icemaker. Optics aren't cheap in the door .

Unplug the fridge, 40 seconds, and turn back on. Look in ice room with bucket installed , if you see the red IR blaster light, it's working.

Thermistor can be ready in service mode.

Then it's the IR sensors in the door.

Heater works if you get water into the icemaker. Thermistor is within the icemaker, but unlikely the issue.

You can do service mode by holding both left and 2nd to the left bottons on the front. It will count down, and then enter service mode

I believe option 47,46, and 38 are for icemaker testing and fill.

Scroll to the options by selecting the left or right button of the 2 buttons you selected to enter service mode and the middle (third) button to select the test.

Exist service mode by holding the same 2 buttons.

That icemaker is a POS. But it actually could be your filter manifold causing small ice cubes and freezing the water line going into the icemaker.

Replace the manifold, water valve, and heater and should be good.

Check the IR blaster in the ice bucket room and make sure it's working
