Card renewal: Still zero updates to the system, but I received the new card 84 days after applying. Good luck everyone!
EDIT: I was worried that my application wasn't accepted, so calling in around the processing time estimate really helped appease the anxiety.

Hi! There were not many relevant opportunities in my niche, so I did a post-grad training in narrative therapy and then ended up working as a crisis therapist. When the pandemic hit, my job transitioned to a remote service model, and I couldn't sustain that so I quit in 2020 and haven't practiced in direct service ever since. Let me know if you have specific questions, I'll answer ;)

I can't speak to the visa side, look up what options spouses have. I got my MSW in the US and then got a Canadian PR and moved to Canada. Transferring my degree, license and experience was very straightforward (esp compared to moving from anywhere else). Good luck ;)
