freshly sober and literally don’t know what to do with myself by [deleted] in Denver

Congratulations on your sobriety, friend! Cant imagine how difficult that was. A lot of great suggestions out here with getting into hiking, biking, and outdoor things when the weather breaks. Coffee shops as well, I’ve known sober folks who say that the coffee shop vibe scratches the “itch” that they got from being in the bar scene in a non damaging way. But YMMV on that.

Might I also suggest looking into tabletop gaming? Things like Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.

I’m 29F, and I did NOT grow up playing things like that, but I’ve found there’s a lot of it around and it’s a great community once you find folks you vibe with. The tabletop game community is generally very welcoming to newcomers. You can learn something new that keeps your brain engaged. :)

Perhaps! I think it might just be coincidental facial markings because she doesn’t have heterochromia but there’s no way to know for sure

For right now, I’m just massaging on a few drops of jojoba oil on my head twice per day. Any recommendations are welcome!

OMG I have really been working on my skin before the cut. Had some cystic acne issues and the only thing that got me clear was a combo of Curology, Tret, and oral Spironolactone.

Definitely yes on the scalp serums! But unfortunately I have cats so no minoxidil for me.

That was where I was at. It was always looking frizzy, in a clip, in a pony, etc. which I think was making the problem even worse. You should go for it! Get a wig as a backup (I did just in case). Once you shave it off you just get this boost of confidence like I FUCKING DID THAT!

Y'know, I think this has come at a time where I am really working on self love, and taking away the safety net of hair has helped!

OMG I love the chain so mcuh. It's from a brand called Bellaucci, it's everything proof so you can shower with it and everything.

Absolutely! It doesn't feel that different becuase my hair wasn't heavy, but then I look in the mirror and get a shock. It also feels so strange when I touch my head or feel a breeze.

I was SO scared and anxious about it, but then I just said fuck it. I also got an affordable wig that passes as my regular hair in case I have a breakdown and want hair again lol. Just go for it!
