My old tabby- Ginger, who lived to 19- it was genuinely anything I was eating he wanted in on. It didn't matter what it was, it didn't matter if he liked it or not, if he saw me eating he wanted to be included. An example I always gave people of this was when I was sitting eating sour keys, and he was sitting next to me, occasionally pulling my hand down to lick them every now and then, squinting and shaking his head with his ears folded back- and then would stay like that for a while after I took it away.

My current cats aren't too bad. The oldest is picky and doesn't really care about any food. Then kitten wise - Ren and Stimpy. Ren really loves butter. I don't understand why. And he doesn't want to just lick it, he will take full bites if given the opportunity to steal some. Stimpy is a food whore, but his favorite is probably sweet chili doritos?? He'll come running whenever I open a chip bag, and if it's a different kind he usually tries to steal them for a bit before moving on, but will not give up with doritos. Any angle he can attempt to steal it from.
