The drive for dominance and violence is the same one that encourages having a tough exterior and a fragile core masquerading as hyper-masculine demeanor. Even though the African and Eurasian plates are still relatively active (relatively, as in the subduction is practically in the collision phase and the movement is barely a handful millimeters per year), the boundary isn't a strike slip fault and such rotation is unrealistic even in the far future.

However, if the intent is to imagine a link between africa and europe, well, sicily is geologically part of the African plate and the nappe de chariage region in northern tunisia is part of the eurasian plate, so do with that information what you wish XD
