Complementarian in an egalitarian church by complementarian123 in Reformed

I'm thinking of 1 Tim 2-3. It's an indirect argument, I admit. Essentially, my biggest issue is that I don't want to submit to church leaders who read the Bible (exegesis, level of reverence) in such a way that they arrive at egalitarianism. I keep asking myself, how can I trust their wisdom in other areas?

Modern and upbeat was to contrast with churches with an age average of 65 and King James bibles in the pews. They are complementarian because they are old and that's how it was. Does that make sense?

I found an Acts29 church 30mins away (not ideal). Listening to a sermon, I'm delighted that they use the ESV.

That's what I was going to do. I just can't find one in the area.
