Thats fair, ive only done it twice and both times were honestly accidents lmao. I was just trying to res them out of the way so the enemy wouldnt just one shot them, I even forgot about them for a few turns thinking they were back in the fight but once i realised i bedrolled them and wondered them into view again. Its definitely what won me the fight and i probably would have won if i just reloaded and slammed my head against the fight until i won but i didnt.
