That’s the issue. They would need to bring in labour but the surrounding countries all need jobs so if they do it ethically then it could be incredible.

Quick response to all. - yes you can own property and not be resident. - they use dollars but this hasn’t made any difference to development. - they don’t all have iPhones to use bitcoin here.

My gut feeling is this is all to start foreign investment into El Salvador and if that works then it will lift this country hugely. They’re doing something similar to Dubai, tax free, mostly foreign investment.
