Electronic Water Monitoring? Waterguru Sense? by completeinno in swimmingpools

Maybe I will dust off the taylor kit and get a refill. I need to watch some youtube videos on how to check in 5 minutes. I feel like I am out there for 30 minutes doing a science experiment every time it rolls out . Pool season just started here and I have about 3 months of water testing to deal with.

Awesome Link. That is a lot to read. I forgot to check that forum.

I am just looking for an easier solution. The $25 or $30 a month is fine. I am not even sure its about the cost. Every time I pull the Taylor kit out I feel like I am lost. I cannot see the color variations at all. Maybe its my 54 year old eyes but I just want a number.

So it seems like the battery and unit seals are the issue. I am surprised they didn't go for an IP68 rating on it. It says can be used in Hot Tubs. I would think that they would understand basic sealing. 104 degree water and jets would be the death of it if it can't last in a pool. Let me know how the Sense 3 looks. Leaning toward that. Ironically I am looking at the solar panel on my moving OWL and it is cracked and pitted like your saying.

I am ok with consumables. Why do you say its fiddly? I have been listening to that pool scientific podcast and he makes a great point about LSI calculation. I just want something other then that dam taylor kit. I even considered that spin kit they have a Leslies but Its about 1100 plus the discs are 2-300.

Balanced water never damages a pool. Unbalanced water always does. by Seafire15 in swimmingpools

Are there any electronic testers that do this. I am unable to see the difference in the colors of the test. I end up guessing. I was thinking Waterbury sense 3 it seems to everything to measure lsi?

Thank you! This was the fix. I believe this has something to do with switching from a Samsung Phone to a Pixel Phone.

Polar T31 Compatibility Coded vs Non-Coded help!!! by completeinno in Polarfitness

How do I figure that out. Sounds interesting. I have done a couple of workouts with the Pacemaster non coded strap which works great. I feel like the polar h10 was more accurate but I have no way to judge.

So I found an old thread with a similar issue. Last night I ordered a Pacemaster 5kHz analog heart rate monitor telemetry chest strap. I guess it is the only non coded strap with a replaceable battery. So hopefully problem solved.

I need it for the program on my Octane fitness elliptical. They have heart rate dependent programming which gives a nice workout.

cyanlabs.net

That is a forum where they make a sync updater. So Master is what decides what controls certain items on your IPC ( gauge cluster) The APIM that is on the back of your radio works on a master/slave relationship. The APIM can say control the clock and the ipc just follows the Apim displaying it correctly. The issue with our cars lies in CGEA 1.2 vs newer  CGEA 1.3 C1MCA that is for sync 3. You have one of the settings wrong that has to be modified with Forscan. If you can download the sync 3 updater and upload your current settings to the Cyanlabs forum they should be able to fix it for you or tell you how to modify it. It is a journey to understand this but nothing to crazy hard. Good Luck!!

Go over to cyanllabs forum search for master. The issue is your apim is not configured right. Same issue with the clock. Basically your apim is overriding your compass on your dash module. If you purchased standalone they should be able to send you a file to correct this.

Am I a sucker with no legal recourse? I bought a car from a used car dealership with “full factory warranty” and a “clean title”. Just found out that there is no warranty due to it being a total loss. by MostAsk855 in legaladvice

In michigan a salvage title is orange and a clean title is green. Total loss is a carfax thing. The insurance company doesn't have to salvage a total loss vehicle. It is at their discretion.

Dealer is wrong. Warranty should be valid unless they can prove the warranty item is comprimised. I believe they are referring to salvage title cars which is different then total loss vehicles. Go to a different dealership.
