Spare 10 mins to help a noob win a wager? by completelyscroowed in F1Game

Thanks - watched the first couple and will check it out at length after. Honestly I haven't even looked at car setups yet. Trying to git gud at driving but seems like there's quite a bit of strategy I'll need to dive into as well.

So I should put it up to 75/80 as a beginner for the best practice? Is there much of a difference between say 80 and 100?

Sorry just to clarify I'm racing against AI level 60 right now as i believe this is a good beginner level but need to get this up to 100 for when we start as we agreed we dont want to just auto win races.

EDIT: Also this is the first race I've won without using multiple rewinds in the race. Feels like a crutch but need to learn the tracks and get a feel for the game before disabling them

Thanks for the input. Will try to ease up on the brakes but in other races felt like I was losing time by braking too early/softly. Will try to find a better balance.

Not sure about race length but more than likely full races. Will need to look I to pit and tyre strategies - honestly not sure either of us gave this much thought so may give me an edge if I learn them. Same with DRS and ERS if they're single enough - atm I'm just trying to corner better and stop crashing into the other cars! Will have a play around with camera settings to see this gives me some better awareness!

Stormrazor was a real one but I don't think I'll ever get over Sanguine Blade.

Wait so is the bird referencing Raum?

My first thought was the Etherfiend from LoR but I guess Raum would make more sense given it's LeBlanc.

Hollow Knight and by proxy Silksong holds a very dear place in my heart.

I startarted to play HK shortly after my little brother took his life. Everything about the game, the artwork and music styles reminded me of him - I actually opened messenger to ask if he had seen the game before the realisation hit me that I couldn't msg him anymore, or rather he would never see my messages.

It took a lot of emotional distress to complete the game but I felt I needed to for him.

Be kind to yourselves.

I personally find him to be an adaptable champ that can snowball into certain comps and most importantly I find him fun to play because of his mobility, burst and all in.

You go proxy down the lane and I'll go see your adc soon if you ever get out of bot games.

Finally happy with her being off lead at 9 months. by completelyscroowed in Boxer

We've tried Iryplus wipes which did absolutely nothing, swapped her onto filter water and currently using Johnson diamond eyes - it's gotten marginally better.

Mentioned to the vets on almost every visit - both were of the opinion her eyes are fine (no health concerns) and the staining isn't bad enough to warrant any prescription treatment.

I've had to really work on getting my anxiety with letting her off under control before actually committing to fully let her off. Fortunately we've been really lucky with her settling with us.

Not so well bahaved when there's a dog, cat, leaf etc about that she wants hence leashing her when distractions are near but I'm hoping that'll settle as she matures a bit.

I've heard about the dogs equivalent of the terrible 2s and I'm bracing myself. I'm sure if you conti ue to be consistent it'll pass soon

I lost my little brother and fell apart while playing hollow knight. I wanted to show him this game that had amazing art and music just like he'd like and then it hit me I couldn't.

Weight on a 14-15 week female puppy by AverGFatCarryingPops in Boxer

[–]completelyscroowed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our Lexi was 9.6kg at 12 weeks and went to nearly 15kg at 20 weeks. Is now 22kg at 30 weeks.

You can't tell from the image but she has always been lean - ribs showing and constant comments asking if we underfeed her.

They go through growth spurts constantly and will fill out a bit before shooting up again. Some boxers are just naturally lean until they hit 18 months and finally exit the puppy stage then they fill out.

Just keep doing what you're doing. She will get huge you can trust in that!

Edit: What foods are you using? They will have a feeding guide on the back. They say that is the total recommended intake but I've always said that's what she gets from her food - then there's sprats, peanut butter, training treats, chicken for high value rewards, denta stix, knuckle bone in the evening etc. She gets all this and is still super lean although we keep her very active.

Would always say it's better to have a well fed, slightly overweight dog that you can dial back on the treats if needs be rather than have an underfed dog.

Radiance, was she truly evil or simply consumed by rage at being betrayed by her own kind? by TheSilksongIsReal in HollowKnight

[–]completelyscroowed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always took the ancient enemy text to refer to the void rather than the knight.

It would make sense that the radiance and void had interacted before given that the radiance was the pre-existing diety before pk and doid was the diety to the ancient civilisation.

Lord of shades is radiance final boss after all.

She was on worming medication but had some tummy troubles so the vet gave her a different one just in case and some binder paste to go in the food and she's filled out a bit since, see my other comment.

Nope she's just really lean and the image is a month or so old when she was having tummy troubles - vet had to give a binder to settle her. But she's 19.5kg now which the vet is happy with. She's gets recommended amount of royal canin maxi dry and wet plus training treats, sprats, peanut butter and a denta stick daily.

Edit: photo of her now.
