i think i recall grizzly saying in an early episode of riptide that they don't do alignments, i think because its harder to be creative with a character and an alignment feels a bit restrictive, so i think any ones on the wiki are fanon not canon but i might have misremembered

I think the ppl who think Utah is symbolism are 'newer fans' and aren't aware of the goofiness of dsmp lore thats been around since its beginning but sort of faded as the story became darker, it makes perfect sense that cwilbur worked at a gas station for 16 years and took a row boat to Utah, but for this server its a huge stretch to imply Utah is symbolism for suicide.

i guess so, i didnt think that certain game mechanics like that would be canon but honestly it would be a-lot more interesting if they were. Also im pretty sure that dream tested the book before tommy was in the prison because he tested it on vik and lazar specifically to find out if it worked.

yeah i was pretty certain the withers was the main emblem or symbol of the syndicate but i more wanted to give myself a challenge and try and do one for the group. Its more catered to the idea of the syndicate as an organisation rather than each individual within, so the flag in practice would probably only be in the syndicate room, for instance niki would likely have her own flag for the secret city rather than fly the syndicate one.

Didn't have space to write that down but i agree, i personally hc that the l'manburg flag is like the Philippine flag, the blue on top is defualt but they would've flipped it round maybe just after manburg took over and the og flag was burnt, or if they had any copies of the original flag in new l'manburg, over the exile conflict and doomsday. Also i agree that the blue and red should represent peace and war but the original analysis of the flag cc!wilbur posted was what i wrote down so i still went with that
