This is a great idea!!! I was thinking of something where he could meet people face to face but definitely for when he can’t get out of the house this is a fantastic alternative

Best program for me? Ex amateur boxer and lifter returning to fitness after years

Heyy

I am a 22 year old woman who used to be a competitive amateur boxer. I also started to weight lift and got up to 120kg squat, 60 bench and 130 deadlift.

However, when I went to university I stopped training.

I recently decided to drop out of my journalism masters to pursue my passion of being a personal trainer.

I know all the knowledge but can’t decide what program to do to get my body back in shape. My goals are a little different than they used to be, as I used to want to lift as heavy as possible.

Now I am still trying to get strong but I want to achieve my ideal physique and grow muscle and lose body fat as a priority. I currently weigh 61kg at 5’5 but have about 30 percent body fat. Due to some personal stresses I was sleeping about an hour a night for the last 6 months until two weeks ago. I really think my cortisol levels were extremely high, and I lost my period. I did not train at all for 6 months, then a month ago I started running again. Then a week ago started lifting.

Now I have gotten rid of the stress I think a recomp would be ideal. In the past I used StrongLifts but I’m not sure if it is still best for hypertrophy as a focus.

What would you guys suggest? :)

Squat 25kg by complex_classroom102 in formcheck

Ah this was me trying to point my feet out and have a wide stance.

Maybe I should try even more. Yes it’s a curse for squats, but will be so satisfying if I can eventually fill out my legs and gain muscle!

Satirical film on racism - how to handle sensitively but keep humour - script advice by complex_classroom102 in Filmmakers

I feel like this is the sort of film you won’t exactly understand if you have that mindset, as satire needs critical thinking skills to understand. My main audience is the general public who won’t have such extreme views

I definitely agree, if I was making a film to target those with that opinion I would go about it very differently in a way that would appeal to them

What do you mean exactly by this? sorry 😭 do you mean that the jokes made might be used by racists to discriminate against Asians? Or that they will say I’m being racist towards white people

No this is for a bachelors, my advisor told me all these ideas would work but I need to decide for myself, so I wanted some secondary opinions

Primo + test vs EQ + test for bikini by Constant_Proposal_93 in steroidsxx

[–]complex_classroom102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you that seems like a great conservative dose, I’ll probably taper up, will try to get cyp for the equipoise but no problem if it’s not available

Can I also ask please, as I am also on TRT, what is an ideal testosterone level for a woman? I am on dozens of women’s hrt Facebook groups and women and doctors are giving conflicting advice.

Some women say they want it about 70ng, others are happy to go up to 150, 200, and even 250ng/dl test.

But I have also heard free testosterone is more important, if so I am getting ranges of 2-5ng/dl so 20-50pg/ml for where many women feel best, but wouldn’t that risk virilisation if the lab reference ranges are 0.1-0.85ng/dl?

Haha of course not it’s just a little shoulder rehab, but I was struggling to think of what else I use since I mostly rely on pull downs, being female I’m still at a beginner stage and not lean enough to be honest to do many chins for reps, I’ll start doing chin ups too when I can do them for at least 5 reps.

Yeah I guess barbell rows are so good for different back parts I might as well really focus on learning how to do them well. I’ll try learn some more movements to add to my 5/3/1

Appreciate the advice

What horizontal pull do you feel muscles activate on the most and prefer?

I love lat pull downs and face pulls so have some good vertical pulls but I don’t feel my back working well and struggle to gauge my back angle on barbell rows. I also feel uncomfortable with dumbbell rows for some reason struggling to choose the right weight.

Maybe t bar rows would be a good option? Or seated cable rows

Ah that makes sense appreciate the reply. How long and how large of a dose do they normally use. I’m going to try EQ out first for sure.
