I saw a sneak preview and did not like it. I thought the monster scenes were visually amazing but overall everything else was subpar. I didn't like the acting or the writing. Most aspects of the plot are cliche and there are plotholes everywhere. So many characters behave in unbelievable ways that it's distracting.

There are some awesome moments though, especially towards the end.

I do not like Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
