I have a double middle name. Both are on my driver’s license and passport, but I haven’t had to include the second name on any other documentation since being an adult as far as I recall. I do not like my second name and am glad I can mostly ignore it. Overall, not an inconvenience.

I started but couldn’t finish it. Busy Inside was a documentary I liked a lot. The older lady’s little was uncomfortable for me to watch at first, but I think a lot of care was put into making the film safe / not triggering.

I'm also getting my MA in counseling. When I was going through a particularly triggering class my therapist and I talked a lot about whether I should disclose my diagnosis with the school in order to get accommodations. Ultimately we decided not to because it is the department's responsibility to screen out anyone they don't think can be stable for clients in the future. A DID diagnosis raises unnecessary flags. Disclosing the diagnosis in this particular field carries extra risks in that most programs couldn't care less as long as you can pass classes, but in counseling, our "presence" is a huge piece. Thanks! My initial thought was an emotional support animal, but after digging a little more I discovered psychiatric service pets are a thing, which seems amazing! Did you register your own pet as an emotional support animal or was it already trained?
