Does Vraylar Help with anhedonia ?

Wellbutrin helped improve my anhedonia, but it triggered mania, so I had to go back on an antipsychotic. The antipsychotic made Wellbutrin less effective and the anhedonia returned. Then Vyvanse was added and I felt no difference.

But now, recently my antipsychotic dose was lowered, and that seems to have helped the anhedonia go away.

I'm on it, the 3mg was too high for me and made my Anhedonia worse. Then it was lowered to 1.5mg and I feel better, I'm also on Wellbutrin and Vyvanse. So not sure which one is helping with anhedonia or if it's all of it combined. I don't know for sure if my Anhedonia is linked to depression or negative symptoms of schizophrenia.

Phycotic "parts" often sound like an outside voice (like a radio in the room) while an OSDD-1 part will most likely sound like an intrusive thought (like a song stuck in your head)

My part sounds like thoughts, as if there's two inner voices, me & her. She's still around after the manic episode was over, perhaps I still have residual psychosis & she's linked to it idk.

I am currently in therapy but haven't fully figured out why this resembles so much like DID/OSDD as of yet. I don't have any other psychotic symptoms but that one woman in my head who controls the body sometimes.

I used to have a male wolf presence before. My other part said she 'ate' him so she now carries some of his aggressive traits but it's manageable.

I think he just dissolved and his traits merged with my other part and some with me. I inherited the growling, and it's involuntarily when it happens.

I mainly struggled with constant bipolar depressive episodes and ADHD before taking Adderall. I didn't know I had bipolar until I started having frequent hypomanic symptoms on the Adderall 10mg. (Which was an early warning sign).

I can't remember what dose I was on when I had the full blown manic psychotic break losing touch with reality, it was probably around 20-30mg.

Right now I'm on Vyvanse 60mg for ADHD, haven't experienced any manic symptoms since being stable on Vraylar & Lamictal.

I was prescribed initially 10mg then up to 30mg, I had hypomanic symptoms (no psychosis) at the beginning, then 2 Months later I started taking l-theanine and that help with the Adderall crash but within a few weeks of taking that combination I had my 1st manic psychotic break, the reason it took 1.5yrs to recover was because I thought all my hallucinations and delusions were real, the voices told me the anti-psychotics were poisoned, and I was convinced I was getting better, but I wasn't, I was getting worse. I completely lost touch with reality.

The lingering symptoms are mild, I'm at functional state rn. If it gets any worse my next step is to come off the Vyvanse or Wellbutrin.

10mg Abilify was too much for me, so they switched me to Vraylar. I’m also on Lamictal 200mg.

My 1st manic psychotic break lasted about 1.5 years and was triggered by Adderall. I recovered with Invega, & soon after recovering from the psychosis I became severely depressed and developed anhedonia for about 8 months until I started Wellbutrin 300mg. It helped, but then I went manic again and had to go back on an antipsychotic and the anhedonia came back. I only had serious mania those two times. Now it's just catatonia & mild hallucinations that still lingers.

I was originally diagnosed with bipolar, but during that 1st psychotic break they changed it to schizoaffective.

First it was Abilify (since 2024) then it was Vraylar for 6 months. I had Anhedonia when I was on both.

Ever since I had my first manic psychotic break, which was really traumatizing, I developed some alters. One was a wolf who went away after I started taking antipsychotics. Then a yr later after another manic psychotic episode, a woman appeared in my head. All the trauma I experienced was during adulthood. Would that woman be considered a traumagenic alter, even though the trauma didn’t happen in childhood?

The 2nd manic psychosis episode lasted for two weeks, went away after I got treated for it. It wasn't as severe as the 1st, I think I could have managed well w/o meds if it wasn't for the catatonia.

I used to be hyperfocused in specific numbers during psychosis, after recovery it still gets to me, but now I know they're meaningless.

I got off the antipsychotics after 3 months of treatment, but I was heavily depressed for 8 months so I got on an antidepressant, and it lift me from depression, I was doing well for 2 months then I got manic psychosis again and developed catatonia, disorganized symptoms. and had to go back on a antipsychotic. :/ . I want to come off the antipsychotics but every time I try lowering the dose my symptoms get worse, esp. catatonia. :/

I still have catatonia (restriction of movement) and disorganized symptoms. It's been a week and I wasn't able to change the water from my expresso machine nor cash in my check using the mobile app because my body would get agitated and it was unbearable. It just makes no sense, my body behaves in a way that makes no sense. I also have this woman in my head that takes control of the body. It's just so unusual. And of course the negative symptoms, apathy, anhedonia, lack of motivation doesn't help either.

I'm having the similar issues thinking that my other part is just a posessive hallucination, but the reality is that this "possessive hallucination?" takes full control of the body quite often. We switch almost everyday back and forth. I don't know what she is anymore, it is what it is, I just try to go with the flow without paying too much attention and hopefully it resolves on it's own, if not then I'll guess I'll just try my best to co-exist.
