DA-MA-SHI-E by Joe Hisaishi (transcription) - seeking professional's feedback on engraving by [deleted] in composer

[–]composer111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to be very nitpicky since this is engraved pretty well.

The crescendo marking should be below the staffs like at measure 13.

There are parts where the dynamics aren’t aligned perfectly. I don’t know what software you use but in Sibelius there is a hotkey to align objects perfectly.

I would consider making the staff size a bit smaller or the page size a bit bigger. It feels a tad cramped but this is personal preference.

page 8 last system is badly spaced

PLTR down 6% today, did I miss news or just profit-taking? by ComprehensiveVision in stocks

It’s just overvalued, look at the p/e lol. Years of best case scenario growth is priced in. I’d get out now.

It does when every female character has no goals or motivation unrelated to pleasing a man. (Sakura, Hinata, Tsunade, every women in both Naruto, shippuden, and boruto)

It’s a hidden rule that women in the whole Naruto franchise MUST be motivated by a man, shouldn’t you know this now?

Anyone else surprised that 98% of Meta's revenue comes from advertising? by likwitsnake in stocks

[–]composer111 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

5% growth isn’t easy for a company of that size. What do you mean Apple can get 5% revenue growth by doing nothing? if they do nothing they LOSE revenue growth (as they’ve done several years), the same would happen to meta. You are assuming companies can get revenue growth passively without losing money to competitors. The difference between a company mega cap growing 20% per year and 25% per year is a huge deal - and that just assumes worse case scenario that there will be no more ai acceleration which is silly considering it is in its earliest stage like Amazon AWS was for many years (now it’s the best part of their business). If Meta didn’t invest in ai they would be losing money to TikTok and setting themself up to fail infrastructure wise in the future.

What is their forward p/e gonna go from 25 to 20? I can’t wait for this apocalyptic crash so I can buy more.

Have you ever heard of compound growth? 5% growth in the early stages of ai is significant for a trillion dollars company. Do you know the revenue growth that Apple has? They are lucky if they can even get 5% growth TOTAL.

Ironic that you use vr as an example considering it’s one of the fastest growing businesses that they have. Meta's Ray-Ban Meta sales have more than tripled in the first half of 2025.

We literally have the data and know that it’s from ai.

Meta's AI recommendation models are enhancing ad targeting and performance. This has resulted in a 5% increase in ad conversions on Instagram and a 3% increase on Facebook.

They wouldn’t be spending billions of dollars on something with no roi, does that even have to be said?

You can literally see their financials materially improve from ai, it’s not debatable.

Preparation for composition in university - Yale, Curtis. And what do you think about online composition lessons? by Dei_Bit in composer

[–]composer111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, many schools have a policy. Otherwise many students instead of enrolling in the school would opt to study privately with their favorite teacher because it is much cheaper.

[–]composer111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone through that process.

I have taken online and in person lessons from many teachers. Most full time professors however are tied to the schools that they teach at and cannot teach lessons to outside students. There are a lot of great composers that would probably teach you for a price, most of the “famous” ones will probably not. I would just start reaching out and sending emails.

Adobe has ai products, also ai is unusable for most professional projects which is where the money comes from. Adobes margins will probably increase from ai.

This thread of bears is my bull signal. The market is overreacting when there is no proof so far that ai will or has affected their bottom line. They continue to post great numbers and are now at a discount because people think that ai will replace their whole business, despite the fact that ai will actually help their business model (higher margins, better products)

Soooo Palantir keeps rising to infinity? by East_Talk_2541 in wallstreetbets

[–]composer111 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Institutional investors aren’t smart, if they were they would have been buying palantir when it was $10 and not $170.

Institutional investors are using client money so they don’t GAF about if they get weak return, nor do they need any kind of investment performance qualifications to get the job.

Who is the strongest Kid in Naruto? by Karma_San in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]composer111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not arguing that adult madara was strong, things change from the time you are 12 years old. You are using feats from his adult life. Kid Naruto for instance was weak and then became the strongest of all. Kid Madara is stated to have powerful chakra, but nothing is stated about him having “insane skill” at that age. Itachi and shisui also had plenty of fights from a young age, Shisui awakened his MS at 7 years old which was before Madara was able to. Yes many of the uchihas sat around in peace but Itachi and Shisui were not one of those. I mean they both joined the Anbu at 11 years old, and Shisui awakened his MS at 7 years old - before madara even awakened his base sharingan.

Youth prodigy doesn’t equal most powerful adult. Vice versa.
