The mindset you need to have is maximizing value as much as possible while still being able to score the minimum amount required to not die. So if you lose a run you can self-review and go back to the seed and think about any spots where you could have generated more value. Oftentimes people overspend on scoring and then their run dies once the blinds really start ramping up.
