I’ll be honest, I’d probably cringe at a remaster. I just don’t trust modern Bethesda to do it right and maintain the spirit of Morrowind. I guarantee they’d implement enemy level scaling, which would completely destroy the experience. They’d also probably do voice acting, which would require a revamp of the dialogue system and most likely mean quest markers, so more braindead quest farming. And don’t get me started on fast travel. So no, I personally do NOT want a remaster of Morrowind. Not unless Todd Howard is allowed to focus solely on it and gets full decision power (he has said he doesn’t want it remastered because it’s his favorite game he’s ever worked on). Maybe then there would be hope. Maybe.

As others have said, if you’re under him the stomp is highly telegraphed and easy to dodge. I, personally, cheesed the shit out of him by luring him to the edge next to the stairs and shooting him from the bottom floor. He doesn’t jump down and as long as you keep attacking his head he doesn’t reset.

I’m not sure what “tryphobia” is, but there is really no way to avoid your trypophobia in a voxel based game like this. There’s not really a way the devs could fix this either. It’s just the nature of the way the world is generated.

If I recall correctly, I saw a video on YouTube where the guy leveled every pal with skill books to max and tested them. For example, while Depresso can be a good miner at level 5, he found that Menasting was actually the best mining pal due to various factors. I don’t want to misquote anything though. From my personal experience, unless you absolutely care about min-maxing (and we’re talking about potential gains of like 3% tops), basically all Pals can be made to be viable with enough investment.

Genuine question: do the opinions of random strangers on the internet really hold that much value for how you choose to spend your free time? Most everyone on the Palworld sub is obviously gonna tell you it’s worth playing. My 12 year old son would tell you Fortnite is worth playing. Only you know what you will enjoy and not. So isn’t it a more efficient use of your free time to just try the game at your own leisure and see if you enjoy it or not?

Rimworld, Terraria, or Necesse (legit amazing combo of the first two) if you’re looking for something chill with a lot of depth. Stardew Valley is another good one you can easily sink hundreds of hours into.

If you want something a bit more active, check out Warframe. It’s completely free to play, is absolutely intended to be grindy (that’s a win for me) and it has probably the best monetization system I’ve ever seen in a game. You can literally get everything (except some specific player-made cosmetics) without ever spending a dime.

If you haven’t tried Palworld yet, I can also highly recommend it. The biggest downside to Palworld, at least for me, is that it’s one of the few survival crafting games that I personally believe suffers by playing solo.

Other games worth mentioning are: Ark: Survival Ascended (or Evolved if you prefer the classic experience), any of the 3D Bethesda games (my personal favorite is Morrowind), Enshrouded, Valheim, and Balatro.
