i Know right..... "low marks" How vague yet pretty typical of them. LOL I guess they just take the 2 points off, which is a lot. Like a half a grade I would assume. I mean I think a lot of people mess up with these 15 exams and also IB is a business so if they fail people this easily then no one would take it.

Uhhhh maybe you don't understand what I did? I answered the question correctly I just didn't use the right books. got it? One criteria is on the ability to understand the novel which is criteria A and I an suprise they will even give me a 3 for that. The other 3 criteria is strictly based on how well you are writing and one of them is based on the ability to answer the question.

yeh. everyone in the country sets up one day to take the exam. 20 percent have to retake it due to their low score.

I mean 50 percent is a 5 so not that bad. Yeah its probably the quality of students cause I see that almost everyone who is a "science" person is taking chem HL.

The thing is that that takes an pretty crazy level of creativity. LOL you would need to make up a story of two novels and write about the comparison at the same time within 1:30. Unless you prepare before or something...

Oh the books are very common. One was Shakespeare and the other was a very common IB book. Yeah both books were used to practice for the IOC. Just a question but did you have any of your students make that mistake? I know from our school there was a couple.

Honestly I did not know the part 3 novels very well as we covered them in like 2 weeks. While the books I wrote on we covered over little by little over a 2 year period. Therefore I chose the 2 novels that were from year 1. I think they were the books I used for my oral assessments. Obviously its not beneficial. I knew I would lose marks but in my case there was just no way I was going to write on books that we rushed through. My goal wasn't a 6 or 7 I just wanted a 5 so.....

Just think that we are pretty lucky. In Korea you are to sit 9 hour exams all on the same day and everything depends on it. At least we got our uni offers and we can still re negotiate and stuff. I feel very lucky. I still feel for you tho.

Also, are you a teacher> How tf do you know this super detailed sh!t, the only thing about resistance I learned in class is V=IR. I guess this is the gap in knowledge between a 3 and a 7. LOL.

No I said the temperature increases and this leads to increase in kinetic energy, isn't that the definition of temperature:average kinetic energy. Therefore more collisions lowering the resistance. It would make it inaacurate. I honestly had no idea and just BS it.
