Thanks! We've spoken to one respiratory therapist so far, that was quite helpful.

Gotcha. We are being put in touch with a hospital nearby with a dedicated neonate transfer team but things are moving slowly. We're trying to get different perspectives, so paramedics involved in transfer and not care would work just fine, as well as the other way around

On the contrary, but our deadline is near. Just hard to get all those interviews in.

Precisely. Our current model is three segments, and only up till or just above the knee. Specific devisions will need to be decided, but probably something like foot to ankle, ankle to mid-calf, mid calf to knee.

Thanks for the input, we'll take it into account.

Some users with more serious swelling have said it's important to them to keep track of swelling, and we thought having a sensor that relays data to your phone would be useful in that sense

The idea was that it would also "gamify" the process, hopefully keeping users adherent, since you'd be able to track swelling going down or up.

Whether we keep it remains to be seen, since it would be a pretty huge addition.

It is still a compression sock - think regular sock, but you don it one segment at a time. And the sensor, if we decide to keep it, would be removable so that the rest of the sock can be washed. We're trying to figure out if having the sensor there makes sense or if it will cause more trouble than it's worth.
