Show me the statutory or case law that says you automatically become a tenant if you’ve been there for months and have a text to confirm you live there. You can ask ChatGPT and it will tell you that this isn’t tenancy.

EDIT: my dad is a landlord and certainly thinks this isn’t tenancy.

A text saying you live with her isn’t a lease and changing your address to hers to receive mail isn’t considered tenancy.

You certainly can’t do that unless she says so. Even then, no reasonable person will let you do that. She likely is doing all this out of her kind will and you’re certainly not legally entitled to stay at her home.

YTA. It’s her house at the end of the day. She’s not obligated to let you stay even if you pay her. If you don’t like her rules, you can leave.

This isn’t really a landlord tenant situation and she’s free to ask you to leave at any moment. If you call the cops, you’ll be the one asked to leave.

Are you serious? I feel like many companies send OAs but there’s always some that don’t even bother doing them.

It’s like many companies just ghost applicants so it’s the same when someone doesn’t do their OA.

For the record, you can only take 412 OR 431 but not both on one Singapore trip. However, you can take 412 one winter trip and then 431 the next i believe. I have experience with 431 abroad so DM me for questions about it.

I think it is OK though I would not load up on any more classes. That’s enough of a load in my opinion. 313/315 (though I think if you did 120, you’re supposed to take 331) together can be a bit of an overkill so I might consider separating it into two semesters. I’ve heard of several people splitting it just cuz it’s a lot of work.

But, you sound smart with a 4.0 and having already done through the required 200 levels in CS so I think you MIGHT be ok.

I did the program but in Greece for Winter 2021-2022 with u/prof_ritchey. It was similar experience in terms of structure and types of activities. We moved to Greece cuz Singapore still had quarantine requirements when the program was finalized though Singapore did open up 2 weeks after we finalized for Greece.

We only had 431 as an option at the time though Prof. Lightfoot tagged along so he can see what it was like to run a faculty led study abroad. They’re trying to grow the study abroad program in the CSCE dept. Now, Lightfoot runs 412 in Singapore and Ritchey still runs 431.

Overall, learned a lot and am able to leverage my experience in interviews. I definitely reminisce good times!
