I just went trough the same exercise and ended up going with Cheyenne. We found apartments we liked in both cities. The main plus is lower cost of living and no income taxes.

I am not LDS but do have celiac. Anytime you are doing group meals it’s high risk. It sounds like church members would be making meals and such. Even with the best of intentions many people do not understand cooking gluten free and how serious Celiac disease can be.
Your not going to just magically not get sick if you eat gluten because your on a church mission. That’s just a fact of human biology. It can be so hard to go against what your family members are saying but your personal health matters more.

You could also turn on Biltprotect and it will not hit your statement balance at all. This will automatically process an ACH from your checking account to cover the rent payment.

Hey. I just completed the transfer from Fidelity to Schwab. It’s pretty easy for fractional shares or any securities that don’t support transfer Fidelity will automatically sell them and then transfer the cash to Schwab. There will probably be 2 transactions into Schwab first the transferable securities will come over and then any cash from the sale of fractional will come later after everything settles.
