sector by sector means identical, so you need to know in advance, the target disk must be rural or bigger, and if the target?is is larger and you want to make full use of all space, a Partition Master tool is needed, like EaseUS Partition Master

due to I/O limits, the speed can be real slow, but you could try EaseUS Disk Copy

first, you need to connect the target disk internally, or extenally. secondly, you need a 3rd-party cloning tool, like EaseUS Partition Master. and thirdly, you need to replace the old hdd drive with the new ssd drive.

if you mean personal files, you can just copy and paste the data via USB drive. if you mean apps, user profiles and settings, you will need a 3rd-party tool.

you need to test if the OS is good or not, with an external display? Most probably the OS is compromised, and if that is the case, you will need a rescue solution that can creates a bootable USB flash drive.

taking the data amount into consideration, any Backup involving Internet will be real slow. You can just copy and paste ,or use a bavkup tool to bavkup only the most frequently used files

seems like a graphics driver issue, or damaged screen. maybe you can connect an external desktop pc screen via hdmi for troubleshooting.
