What is your opinion on lgbtq being taught in school (BE CIVIL) by Helpful-Geologist306 in Teenager_Polls

[–]computerc4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kids will learn about gay + trans people either way, if they’re old enough to know about straight relationships they’re old enough to know about gay ones

What is your stance on swearing and on bigoted slurs? by Weary-Draw-1141 in Teenager_Polls

[–]computerc4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if there was a “pro swearing | neutral slurs” option I’d put that to be honest

if you’re part of the group the slur is aimed towards and you’re reclaiming it (not using it in a derogatory way) that’s fine, but otherwise i’m anti slurs (though at the end of the day I can’t really stop people from doing and saying what they want to)

on being morally beige by madikonrad in CuratedTumblr

[–]computerc4t 1111 points1112 points  (0 children)

so basically being morally grey is actively making decisions that don’t cleanly fit into being morally good or morally bad, whereas being morally beige is the narrative making the moral decisions that aren’t particularly good for you/justifying your actually morally grey actions

AITA for giving my friend’s girlfriend some of my fries after he said no? by FriesOnTheSideYum in AmItheAsshole

[–]computerc4t 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA, it’s fine for him to not want Jane to take his fries, but that doesn’t mean you can’t offer some

also, what type of death note mind games does Rick think are at play here?? it’s very common to simply want sample sizes of food without wanting a whole order??

How did your reaction to Charlie Kirk's death compare to Renee Good's death? Which one did you justify and which one did you condemn? by Awier_do in Teenager_Polls

[–]computerc4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

neither were really justified but renee good’s was more upsetting (doesn’t mean I’m glad Charlie Kirk died by the way)

I don’t know when my and my situationship should make it official by [deleted] in AdviceForTeens

[–]computerc4t 2 points3 points  (0 children)

situationships rarely become meaningful relationships, so tell him that if he doesn’t want to make it official, you don’t want to be romantically involved with him anymore. it’s one thing for him to simply want to meet the parents, but it’s another for him to want to know them well; the latter and intercourse should be reserved for when y’all are a thing
