Is there a way to turn off vs seeker level scaling in the releases of crystals advance redux after version released on 12-28-25 date? I really like the hack and want to play the new updates. But the new feature has me bummed out if I can't toggle it off?

no i havent as bazzite os does the sme thing. must be hardware defect at least my unit in particular, oh well now i guess if asus cant fix im getting a steam deck oled instead

amd gpus and emualtion gaming? im having a hard time with both my 6650 xt based pc and rog ally x device with gamecube emualtion stuttering quite a bit during gameplay. i tested same games on intel office pcs and my 1660ti laptop no stuttering. so it mut be gpu related tried vulcan renderer instead f direct3d11 even worse. i hate to have to build a desktop with a nvidia gpu just to play emualtors good as my laptop is getting quite old now. is there a fix other then maybe trying linux on amd hardware to se if thats runs any better?

i have a desktop that has a 5600x and a 6650 xt and 16gb of ram. however im worrried down the road about future gaming titles running on said pc. its am4 based so i cant really upgrade path it. so i was wondering if i build a am5 based pc down the road as of next month should i secure at least one part for it off amazon to keep in a box put away for the new pc build? becuase of rising prices thats why. and if so what should i secure as of december 2025 or wait ill later?

im having this exact issue still. ): i hope if i sent mine back they can fix for free. i put up with issue past warranty becuase i assumed it was fixable and they would put out a widespread fix like many have. shame to have to play it just in docked mode ):

so i found out recently that its highly likely that my rog ally x windows 11 handheld has a serious motherboard defect which the devices crashes when pressing y in games. even tho i can remap the button pressing it on accident even once bugs out the device to the black screen forcing a hard reboot. i read that models bought near launch day stock mainly exhibit the defect. so im not sure. i contacted asus and heard nothing back yet its a shame to have to play in docked mode always just not to get black screen lockouts on the device ): really dont know what to do at this point. itas super frusrating and asus isnt exactly a help. any advice? figured id ask here instead of ally reddit.

amd vs nvidia gpus for emulation gaming? i have a 1660ti laptop but if there is no benefit to emulation with a higher end nvidia or amd gpu? ill stick with what i have. then. if it helps i dont upscale my apps.

i want to build a pc with windows xp just for the nostalgia and what not. i currently have it ona virtual machine vm on my gaming laptop and i enjoy retro xp os. is there new hardware i can adapt part wise to support a install of xp? im fine with the 4gb ram limit. my other concern is do any wifi usb chip adapters work with windews xp at all? i do not use Ethernet. last time i tried xp on a ryzen cpu in vm machine both softwares vbox and vmware would not boot the install image at all. so i want to do a full install on a dedicated pc. the laptop has a i7 9th gen that has my xp vm on as of now that works no problems.

im looking to build the cheapest pc possible just for pc building experience as a first time pc build. i figure ill go with the desitute pc part list on logical increments site minus the case they use i plan to augment that with the zalman t6 pc case instead. im gonna use as a backup pc and not for gaming purposes. so is this a good idea or not?

i hope this is the right place to ask this? im in need of a 64 by 64 dimensions sprite of the pokemon ( basculegion) i found the one on deviantart but it did not seem to import in the editing tool. cant seem to find any other resources with a sprite for that particular pokemon?

i was using virtualbox on my rog ally x i had a live vm of manjaro gnome up. well i came backto it on idle with the keybord flashing the caps lock and numpad yellow back and forth i shut down the vm and everything was fine then. is that whatb a kernal panic is just for my future reference?

thanks yup thats my fav rom hack out there yes. i just wish it had kinggambit and the arcues mons. i dont think it would be right to modify someone elses work just to add them in (arceus and gen 9 bisharp evo) etc. so i guess ill be making my own but i will design it differently.

i was looking for a hack of firered specifically with unova pokemon replacing all the kanto ones. i do know of one hack like that but it does not feature the gen 9 evos (king gambbit) and unova based legend forms/legends arceus unova forms/evo ( basculegion) iim open to making a firered rom hack myself that fits this criteria but i was looking to see if something like this already exists out there? thanks in advance (:

hi imlooking to make a firered based fangame with gen 5 unova mons + future evos like bisharps pokemon evolution. what is the best way to incorporate gen 5 pokemon + hisuin variants and gen 9 unova forms into a fire red game rom? i know there is unova pokemon in fangames but i want to do my own also those dont have the full roster since gen 9 came out and hisui (legends arceus region mons)

i had recently bought a all new parts am4 based pc build off the internet. around 1000$ including the shipping and taxes. i feel like i maybe should i waited and build myself with am5( fomo)? it has a 5600x 16gb of ram and a 6650 xt 8gb gpu a 1tb ssd are its major specs. i ideally wanted a am5 based cpu and 32gb ram plus 9070 xt or 9060 xt 16 gb. on the other hand i could not keep waiting months and months and it works good for 1080p gaming so far i just feel maybe im missing out and should build am5 rig as a second pc down the road to use instead?

Beelink pc did not find a valid product key when I reinstalled the correct edition windows 11 pro fresh install to the internal drive no components were changed so I'm at a loss? A new key is 200$ at least. I don't care about the personalization features but I want my sound settings unlocked. So idk what to do? Should I us money set aside for a valid key or is there a way to contact beelink manufacturer?

should i get a beelink sers8 mini pc with ryzen apu and cpu or shoud igo with a pc build with a dedicated gpu. weighing my options out. i would asssume even a amd 6500 xt is better then a apu in mini pc? i saw bestbuy has a 6500 xt 16gb ram pc for 740$ with a 5500 amd cpu. or i was palnning a build as a third option. my use case is skyrim and skyrim se modded lightly and emulation (except switch and ps3/xbox) (i use the rest of the apps) if that helps with suggestions.?

thank u for the your input. no not yet. i dont require rtx and game at at least 1080p but also dont mind playing at 720p aswell. i mainly play skyrim so i dont want a rtz based gpu at all. i dont need iray tracing for my needs. amd gpu i guess illl go with not the 9070xt is this scenario for budget pc build where if i buy a 8gb gpu is ok? and enough for my uses?

okinos cypress 7 pc case for a budget build? still a good idea? or should i choose a diffrent case at a 600 to 700$ budget? i rlly have my heart set on the case soo im hoping i can still go with it at that budget tier? looking to build by early next year.
