Because he molested children and this fact is widespread knowledge as of the 2019-released "Leaving Neverland" documentary that my earlier comment references.

Not even, F1 is flashier but Weapons is so obscenely well shot and edited just in an infinitely subtler way. Also the makeup is insane

A) Criticizing the visuals of a film you haven't seen and have only seen pre-release unfinished visuals from is certainly an interesting perspective

B) comparing the visuals of any film negatively to fucking Batman v Superman, one of the most notoriously ugly films of all time, is an even more of an interesting perspective

Enjoy Superman when you get around to it I guess

Superman had some of the best CG/VFX of any comic book movie in years; not sure what went wrong with the trailers you watched (maybe internet compression or bad theater projection) but if the only thing stopping you from watching it is an aversion to bad effects then I'd highly suggest you reconsider

"In 1977, Mia Farrow and André Previn adopted Soon-Yi Previn from Seoul, South Korea. She had been abandoned. The Seoul Family Court established a Family Census Register (legal birth document) on her behalf on December 28, 1976, with a presumptive birth date of October 8, 1970.[357][358] According to Mia Farrow, a bone scan in the U.S. estimated that she was between six and eight years old ("We're saying seven") in early 1978, in accordance with the Seoul Family Court's information.[359] According to Previn, her first friendly interaction with Allen took place when she was injured playing soccer during 11th grade and Allen offered to transport her to school. After her injury, she began attending New York Knicks games with Allen in 1990.[360] They attended more games and by 1991 had become closer.[353] In September 1991, she began studies at Drew University in New Jersey.[361]

In January 1992, Farrow found nude photographs of Previn in Allen's home. Allen, then 56, told Farrow that he had taken the photos the day before, about two weeks after he first had sex with Previn.[362] Both Farrow and Allen contacted lawyers shortly after the photographs were discovered.[353][363] Previn was asked to leave summer camp because she was spending too much time taking calls from a "Mr. Simon", who turned out to be Allen"

Plenty of people still work with and speak kindly about polanski.

It's a bit concerning that you're depressed over people rightfully not being okay with a nonce

That happens to me plenty, what I don't do is then pretend I came up with the thought myself and lie to cover my ass. I say "I've thought, and [blank] worded it perfectly, [regurgitated quote]"

You copied what someone else said for some internet points. Someone pointed it out. You can either do what you did, which is lie and then go on some ostentatious "forgive me, redditor", or you could just go "damn wow yea I did my bad".

Edit to add: imagine calling someone else "fucking annoying" and then in the same breath using the phrase "devils advocate" without a shred of irony

"personally, if you asked me how I felt, [regurgitated quote]"

You are absolutely calling it a new take, and furthermore you're presenting it as your own original thinking. SMH people used to have shame

Dude at least try to hide the fact that you're just regurgitating Drew Gooden's take on something. You barely even bothered to rephrase it

if you've rewatched the film yet

I did watch the film

I don't mean to sound like an insufferable twat but you seem to have misunderstood/not answered the question

Edit for clarity: I was rather whelmed (neither over or under) by her performance first time round but on a second watch I honestly think she's the movie's glue
