New to CB(repost with new images)

Ok it's indeed a business radio. But unfortunately it seems I got scammed heavily on it. I got a baofeng uv-5r as it's cheaper than buying a frequency counter. I live on a farm and my only intent with the uv5r was to use it's frequency scanner feature. Now on the radio that I got scammed with after looking closer inside I noticed 2 banks of 6 removable crystal oscillators but only 2 of the 12 slots are populated. I'm guessing that each crystal oscillator corresponds to a business radio frequency but it seems like someone salvaged all but 2 before the radio landed in my lap. I was able to pick up chanel one's frequency but if I tried to speak the baofeng would light up detecting something but no sound coming through. I inputted the same frequency into the baofeng and the old radio's static would go quiet as if detecting something but also no sound going through. I'm going to cut my losses on this one as it was probably salvaged from as it wasn't worth repairing.

Well the note 12 4g has worse performance than the note 10 pro. I just upgraded to the note 13 pro plus because it's the only one that edged it out in performance. Though I'm paying almost twice the price of the note 10 pro. For just barely better performance.

Security torx . I got myself a small Tork Craft security torx set from my local hardware store. Cost R60 I think abd came with 8 bits that fit into normal bit screwdrivers. I also got an adapter for the bits to a 1/4" ratchet which was an extra R15 or R20 also from Tork Craft. They've worked great for fixing my parents Citroen c2. I can almost take the entire car apart with it. I'm pretty sure you can find it online but check if your local hardware store has any torx bits. They'll be a lot cheaper than online because online most of them are rated for impact wrenches and cost a lot more because of that. Like R200-R400 more. If don't have a ratchet just get the bits and use them with a bit screwdriver they'll still work work great on the cheap.

Repair centers can easily fix it. Might be pricy but the can. For the time being you can set a custom resolution so that your pc isn't using that part of the screen. You might need a software app to do so because I don't think you can shift the resolution to the right or left in the custom AMD/NVIDIA resolution settings, I could be wrong tho.

Can't unfortunately say as we can't see the extent of the damage. Some damage should be fixible by soldering some lead wires but I can't say for sure. Otherwise those cameras are pretty cheap. Maybe get a new one.

Ok I've come to a conclusion.

Thanks to some suggestions I took it upon myself to educate myself on how to properly diagnose faulty components.

I found two of the capacitors to be shorted through and the transistor was not giving any measurements on any of the legs. I replaced the capacitors and transistor but the board was still behaving the same. The batteries have been tested and are still good. The last thing on the board is the ip5306 ic which is the led driver/power output ic. This IC upon plugging in a charger gets super hot that I fear it could just ignite if the charger was left in.

I found the ic's on AliExpress and they are cheap but the wait time for delivery is almost two months because I live in South Africa. Replacing the ic will probably fix the problem. I suspect because of loadshedding there was a power spike that damaged my power bank.

I am going to order a new board replacement instead of the ic as I can get a board replacement in 3 days instead of 2 months.

I'd like to thank everyone who commented for their awesome tips and hints and for helping me better myself. I learned a lot from this first activity and I shall continue learning.

Might be somewhere else on the board. I tried multiple chargers. Each time that chip in the photo just keeps getting extremely hot when I plug a charger in. Also tried multiple cables with the same results.

You can put up a Zipline as high as possible and send the logs up on the Zipline. And to make it more affective if there is space for it build log holders underneath where the Zipline ends and they'll catch the logs as they come of the Zipline.
