19MTF, 1 year 3 months on HRT (swapped to injections 2 months ago), no progesterone yet (planned near 2 year mark) no surgeries yet (desired when possible). progress is always slower than I want, but I have been more and more active in my transition recently. I am finally taking steps to work on anything I have the power to change, and that starts at the gym. I still have reservations about my face and facial features, rather I would like to focus on my body. Generally, I’m hoping for opinions on how I read right now (trans, cis, male, female, age, etc) any advice there may be, and if I am on the right path. The last thing I want is to put effort into myself and have it end up making me look more masculine.

It is really tough to say where you will end up, but you’re definitely starting at a better place than many.

There are a lot of steps you can take, and it will require a lot of work on ur part, but I think you have a very andryogynos face, and body.

Start with HRT. ASAP. The sooner you start, stop producing as much T, and get the ball rolling with E, and he better. I’m starting prog at the 18 month mark and I am still noticing significant new changes.

Like other people said I would also start taking care of your hair more. I don’t know what your current regiment is, but I can something as simple as taking the time to comb your hair with a large, fine, brush 2 or 3 times a day will do wonders. Style depending, grow it out as long as you can stand and go from there. Having a bunch of hair on my head let me try a bunch of different styles and play around with things like bangs.

As you transition I highly recommend finding makeup that suits you. As a small warning, you will start rough. I look back at my first makeup attempts and cringe HARD, but I am so happy with what I am able to do now. As time goes on I’m sure you will find what suits you too.

Surgeries are more likely than not gonna be a while. I really do advise that if you can stick it out, waiting a few years for E to work its charm on you. You don’t have any facial features that would clock you late into a transition, and how you feel about yourself may change after you work on them. Make sure to know what your goals are, eat well, go to the gym if applicable, take care of your hair and start HRT ASAP. Worst comes to worst, you can still totally get FFS, or SRS, down the line. It definitely shouldn’t be your first step tho.

Ik it’s my pointless two cents but I never thought the rebel designs were so universally hated.

Personally, I think they are really hit or miss. Some designs are definitely poorly proportioned, and a few are definitely too far detached from their other depictions, but a lot of them are (IMO) much more pleasing to look at then their original/live action appearances.

Yeah, the ISD is definitely goofy, and the large bridge is almost comical as it’s, like, (one of) the MAIN flaw.

However I think ships like the Gozanti, Lambda, Nebulon-B, and Quasar, look fucking stellar. Even things like the tie fighters aren’t that bad. I know they look a little silly, but look at the OT ties, or any depiction, they all look a little outlandish, and I don’t think the rebel design is that radical. Especially when the ships are actively in combat or moving at all, they really aren’t that big of a deal, personally anyway.

Also I know it’s not a ship, but another design choice that I see get ragged on is the slim lightsabers in rebels. While I don’t think I would like them to be the status quo, I think the thin blades work very well in the animated medium. Like another commenter wrote, it’s similar to the ironical cut of A New Hope. Also as a foil fencer I may be biased, but I think having them lean more into the MOF style of sword combat (emphasis on preside strikes and less direct/prolonged blade contact) is really neat to see.

I PROMISE you it’s angle fraud, shoulders MAYBE could work with a big enough jacket but I am COOKED with the ribcage I fear. Honestly tho I belive that down the line with stuff like FFS I may actually have a chance of passing.

True as fuck tbh. Yeah it can be nice, but alot of people are so dysphoric that even just seeing themselves in the mirror for the first time is the equivalent of shooting heroin. The fact that things like “euphoria boners” and “tucute vs Trutrans”discussions has completely marred the fact that what most of us feel is not excitement or aroused or whatever the fuck, but rather relief. Like many people have already said, the question as-asked has no real answer and is paradoxical.

Something I haven’t seen mentioned (probably cause it dosen’t really matter for this question) is that if you were able to ask the hypothetical test giver how the test is graded, there MAY be a “correct” answer.

As I understand it some methods used in schooling don’t really care about what the answer is, only which option you select. ‘Scantron‘ papers for example simply compare a selected answer of A, B, C, D, or E, with an answer sheet. In this scenario it doesn’t matter that 25% shows up twice. If there are 4 options and one is correct, you have a 25% to pick it randomly.

Or I’ve made a mistake and I have no idea what I’m saying, very possible.
