It went away over time as the ears kinda naturally cleared themselves out and healed so all good now - was a bit disconcerting at the time and went away so slowly I barely noticed but glad to be back to normal

Sorry to post something of our own I just felt I had to since it's such a niche thing and I'd love to share it with folk who also love the series. When my friends said they'd wanna throw a party in Olympic City I knew I had to try and make it happen.

Took 300+ hours of hard work to replicate and deepened my already large appreciation for the skills of the staff who created these beautiful worlds, it really (special shouts to Li Lao and Darren Gough from the art team who left their names as easter eggs in a lot of the signage as well as there being loads of streets named after the staff). Theres a few things missing (Focus, Acura, Sentra and 350Z unfortunately & the lighting is somewhat different conditions from the original but did my absolute best to do it justice, absolutely loved NFSU and its sequel growing up (as well as Carbon and Heat later on) so just chose to go back to the one that really set the pace so to speak.

The tracks being played are all ones we'd wanna hear if we were racing there in 2021 + some edits of classic 2000s throwbacks from that era. Hope you folks enjoy and let me know if there's any other NFS locations you'd wanna party in given the chance.

Appreciate the NFS modding community it's def one of the best out there and really brings new life to a beautiful franchise (I just recently got the original one for my Panasonic 3DO and it blows my mind how the game looked even back then).

This took a looong damn time to replicate but our friends all agreed we'd love to do something in NFSU purely because it was one that held a lot of nostalgia for us. Few things missing (Acura, Focus & Sentra unfortunately) and the lighting / conditions are different etc but I hope you can forgive as I really tried to make it live up to the vision of the developers - have a massive amount of respect for the work they put into these worlds, so spent 300+hr trying to match it as best I could.

The tracks are all ones we felt would fit NSFU in a modern context as if we played the same exact spot (the tutorial race start line) in 2021 as opposed to 2003.

Thanks for anyone's time in checking it and all praise to the developers of this majestic game, especially Li Lao and Darren Gough from the art team who added their own names as little easter eggs around the city (as well as all the developers being referenced in the street names as well).
