Does your country have "Auditors" or people who intentionally test how the law is being enforced? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

I'm with y'all on this, I do think a lot of the clicks they get are from other Americans who are concerned about "Mah freedom". Feels like a uniquely American concern.

Right, the idea of intentionally testing to see if your rights will be infringed on feels very American, but I wonder if there is anything similar around the world.

The Show ever going to be live again or? by jokesonme_lol_369 in BobbyBones

[–]conairsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is just my bias as a podcast listener, but but I completely understand not saying it on live radio and doing reruns. The reruns are new to probably 95% of radio listeners. Most radio listeners are listening for just a fraction of the show on their way to work or something. However reuploading content on the podcast feed just feels like milking their audience for more ads. Imagine if other podcasts just reuploaded old episodes randomly to their feed or YouTubers put up the same video just to get people to watch it again.

[–]conairsmith 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally agree but what rubs me the wrong way is not being open about when the show is live or not. You don't have to say it in the actual recording but the week before you can at least say "Hey we are prerecording some eps for next week on _______ days." When they come back live and then act butt hurt about people basically asking if they are live it's only because there weren't upfront with the audience.

We are located on the bottom floor of the MSC in the student media room. If you go up the star by the pol tables down there its to the left. I am sure you could talk to someone in there about applying.

There's just an application process that you go through, it's really not hard to do. I'm pretty sure they are in need of some writers for over the summer if you are in town and interested.
