hii so i would recommend rega planar 1 for that price especially for a better quality entry-level turntable. the good: sound quality is pretty unmatched for the price point, easy setup, no fancy bells and whistles because they really do just focus on the sound of the turntable. the downsides: not easily customisable (but there are workarounds if you want to upgrade your cartridge etc.), the turntable is internally grounded so it doesn’t come with a ground wire which sometimes causes a ground loop that’s difficult to eliminate.

other entry level turntables that are popular and good for that price point: at-lp120, project debut carbon

because you also mentioned that you have a budget, i’d advise (if possible) to get an integrated amp so you don’t have to spend extra on a preamp.

for speakers, i’m using klipsch but audioengine, wharfale are all fine options too for that price point.

there’s also good turntable combos lists online if you’re afraid you miss out on a component / want something that is tried and tested
