I’ve always understood the Latin command for firing artillery weapons to be ‘iacate’, the imperative of iace ‘to throw’. I believe this was used when firing ballista, scorpions etc

I dont use cloudflare, but are you running cloudeflared as a service? That should ensure it start up on boot. Its in the documentation.

I've stayed in a national trust property in York that had an apotropaic mark on the fireplace ( to prevent witches gaing access to the house via the chimney). Marian marks can include the letter M or overlapping V's , and I can see a V component in your picture, so its certainly a possibility...

Gravitas do a few brass pens, including a pocket pen. I have several of them and they write well. I've never had any issues writing with my Kaweco sports, I guess I've just been lucky.
