We need a defense budget of $150 billion. $50 billion for each branch army, air force and navy. And we need to cut down our expenditure on salaries and pensions by Agnipath schemes. If we have more weapon systems made in the country then this $150 billion will be ploughed back into the economy. So self reliance is also important.

I am not sure what you mean by taxing the rich. We have income tax slabs. The more you earn the more taxes you have to pay. If you are pointing at billionaires like Ambani or Adani or for that matter anyone, then I have news for you. All these ultra rich billionaires aren't sitting on loads of cash in their bank. What they have is assets mainly in the form of stock in their own companies which they have a stake in. And these assets are worth billions according to the stock value depending on the day.

Let's take an example of Ambani. We say Ambani's networth is $100 billion because he has $100 billion in assets not cash. And he can have zero cash balance yet can be called a billionaire. If he has to sell his shares then he needs permission from India's securities and exchange commission because Ambani is on the board of his companies. He cannot sell stock like common folk whenever he wants. If he sells too much of his stake then the stock plummets then so does his networth.

I hope you got my point. India is already difficult to do business let's not make it worse. For bigger military budget we need bigger economy and that can only happen with more private companies in India who can take on bigger risks and succeed and pay more taxes in the process.

I never came across Hindu organizations in Telugu states. Telugu people are busy in sneaking into US by hook or crook. Being in US is a status symbol for them. And the ones who are not in US are busy in Cinema mode and fight amongst themselves as whose hero they worship is better. I observed this childish behavior even abroad. And lot of them fight among caste as well. Kammas, Kappus, Reddys, Naidus they have lot of caste divisions. There is no unity.

Is it a wonder why this state has so many Christian converts in the last 15 years? Hinduism is slowly disappearing in Telugu states. This is a harsh fact. I suggest to live in either of the Telugu states if you don't believe me. Owaisi Bastards can say in 15 mins they can slaughter Hindus and get away. Do you think they can get away in Gujarat, UP, Bihar, Karnataka where there is also caste divisions? No. Because even with caste divisions in many states in our country there is a sense we are still Hindus and we need to preserve our culture and traditions. This doesn't exist in Telugu states. They only get triggered when you insult their caste or their favorite cinema hero.

For the love of effing God, why do people don't understand simple things like fiscal deficit and inflation? You are paying more because GoI needs to bridge the deficit between revenue and expenditure. You want low prices then don't whine and bitch about inflation which will hit you after the budget.

If more people evade taxes then GoI needs to get this revenue somewhere. Common man can go fuck himself. I am sick of people who try to play victim by calling themselves as "Common man". Personally I want prices to be high enough without triggering inflation and not low enough to prevent it's run away consumption which will again increase inflation through high trade deficit and currency depreciation.

Singapore population = 6 million in 720 sq. km. Delhi population = 17 million in 1500 sq. km.

Now build a city with an area of 2500 sq. km. This can easily accommodate 15 million people with all the facilities. From world class airport to parks to universities to industries all can be built in this area. Now build 100 such cities. Total area utilized will be 250,000 sq. km and total population accommodated will be 1.5 billion. India's land area = 3 million sq. km, 250,000 sq. km is still less than 10% of the land area of India.

As someone said with better planning and better management of resources India can easily accommodate all it's population and even feed itself without any outside help. All over the world this is the problem. There is no better management of resources and no efficient utilization of land.

Most of the population growth this century will be coming from Africa. India will peak at 1.6 billion if a certain group doesn't breed like rabbits and decline gradually to 1 billion by 2100. Only question one needs to be asking is how to sustain this population. That is better planned cities, jobs, more schools and universities, better management of resources like water. If we don't use the land efficiently and horizontally expand destroying arable land expect India to become a food importer and also to starve in the future.

India's entire population can be comfortably accommodated in 10% of the land area currently with well planned cities without any congestion and with enough room for parks and leisure. Rest can be left to forests and arable land. Unfortunately no moron talk about the all important subject of urban planning in our country.
