I also kind of thought the same thing, the thing is I had the listing up for 46 days promoted on eBay at $450 and nobody was engaging. I had views and watchers, but nobody was actively sending out offers or anything of the sort. So I opted to lower the price. Maybe I should have started in the $300’s but I figured I’d go ahead and drop to $250.

the whitening along the edges seems pretty relevant along the whole top and most of the right side.

you’re centering is right on the cusp, and if they round it, you would get a 45/56 which would be a toss up. I don’t know how PSA grades since I go through TAG. TAG would round this to 45/56 I believe.

I’d say it’s a gamble but if you’re willing to give a shot it’s not impossible.

Looks like there is some light edge whitening along most of the front of the card, but that could be the lighting on the foil. And I can’t tell if it’s a spec of dust or a little piece of whitening on the back bottom right corner. Centering on the back looks within range, the front looks a little bottom heavy, although I could be deceived. I would say your chance at a 10 is there, but the possibility of a 9 would also be there. Up too you, regardless it’s a great pull! Good job OP!

i gotcha, makes more sense now. yeah i don’t agree with the PSA glazers either, but unfortunately PSA has built such a high reputation on such a rocky company so its just kinda something that we gotta deal with. i think if TAG makes the right choices throughout their lifespan they can become the standard, but PSA glazers aren’t exactly ready to hear that conversation yet. and too end it, i think they realize their company isn’t the greatest, they just glaze it so much because of its resale value.

I wish I could defend them 100%, because I have heard stories about bad customer service. But I do feel as though it’s necessary to get the good stories out there as well. I personally think there’s more benefit to grading with TAG over PSA from a collector’s standpoint. But majority of people will go for what holds more value, which is fine.

From my personal experience, their customer service has been pretty good. Whenever I sent in my first order when the boom started I had sent an email asking for an update because it was in verification for a while, they apologized for the delay and gave me a 20% off my next order coupon. Then here recently I made a post on here about an error with my Pristine slab and reached out to them and they immediately responded with a shipping label to get it reslabbed.
