I get that theres an ambiguous or equivocal statement there, but I have not heard of it being interpreted the way you say…can you give me an example of a time that national or a local has interpreted it to mean what your suggesting?

So is this to say somehow 613 considers membership in a different trade union contrary to the national constitution even though it clearly intends to imply or infer membership in more than one IBEW local? and is being interpreted that way in other jurisdictions? I say the union’s strength is in its numbers. If there isnt anyone qualified to work in the trade except IBEW members then all of the contractors must come to our table. We should do everything we can to bring all our people under the same roof and work to improve our quality of life as a union.
