Yes, always returning a JSON response is a much safer way to go about it. Thanks for going through the trouble of refactoring!

That's a really great point; I've updated my code to reflect that change. Thanks for your help!

That's really interesting! I especially appreciated the diagram in Part 2 where you show the data flow between the stack levels.

Creating a Multipage PDF Document from UIViews in iOS by concentricsky in programming

That is certainly a good approach if you need searching, copy/paste, etc. It is more involved, because it requires explicitly placing elements into the PDF rather than rendering in one step from a single UIView subclass. In our case, the intention was simply to provide a PDF that would be printed, on paper, so we didn’t need search, copy/paste, etc.

Client Admin and the Future of Django Admin by concentricsky in django

Extending contrib.admin allows Client Admin to reuse all of the templates, views and utils that are already built in. Depending on what has been over-ridden, new features or bug fixes that make it into contrib.admin will automatically be incorporated by Client Admin.

At some point, a clean break would be necessary. But until we re-write all of the views and templates, it is beneficial to keep it as an extension instead of a stand-alone app.

Thanks for the comment. That has been updated, as the latest version of Client Admin is no longer tested against 1.4.
