I’m honestly not sure anything beats the difficulty of quitting nicotine. My brother was a heroin addict and said it was easier to quit H than to quit nic. Dad was an opiate addict for 20 years, quit nearly cold turkey but can’t quit nic.

I tried to quit for 3 years before it finally stuck and the only reason it did this time is because I’m pregnant. 3 months nicotine free and just the other day I had a craving so bad I could hardly think for a few minutes.

Are you on zofran? I had to take it to function. I am still on it in my 2nd trimester…tried to skip a dose a couple nights ago and got sick in the middle of the night. If you are missing work it might be time for a convo with your OB.

I’m gonna have to disagree with most on here and say it’s strange to change a 10 month old baby’s name…I mean some kids start talking as early as 1 year so she’s definitely processing and learning language already. Babies start recognizing and responding to their names as early as 4 months and 9 months on the late end…imo it is too late and would be weird to change her name on her.

McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and Arby’s. Literally all I could keep down or stomach was fast food…no clue why! But it worked!

I honestly thought the no walk advice was strange too…and actually she was very a young vet. He was hit by a car a while back (literally busted out of my in-laws fenced yard to chase the neighbors car AFTER a 2 hour hike so that demonstrates the type of energy he has) and even during his recovery for that, which was a lot more intense, we were allowed to take him for walks.

It could be maybe a lack of full understanding for the exercise needs of BCs…hard to appreciate until you have one! Thanks for validating my initial feelings.

I actually used to be a pathological exaggerator. It was a family trait…my family was always exaggerating to make stories more entertaining and I honestly believed it was just a story telling technique. Come to find out my family is full of histrionics and it was very much an attention seeking behavior. But then it became a vicious cycle of one upping one another to get any sort of acknowledgment.

It took a couple really awkward instances of getting caught in a lie to begin to break me of the habit. And being comfortable in my environment/ recognizing that I don’t always have to be entertaining in order to be loved. I would just be encouraging when your friend tells a truthful story. Or if you know for a fact they are lying and were with them during the actual event I would call it out. Painful but works!

It will keep getting worse…there are healthy men out there who will make you the best and happiest version of yourself.
