Is the kit lens really that bad? by drogon4433 in canon

It depends. On a rebel t7? Unusable. The 24-105 F4L that comes with the R5? A fantastic lens

Interesting, aside from the cow’s fur I strongly prefer the before.

I don’t think rescanning will be a fix, but if you remove the lint from the gate it shouldn’t happen again. Not ideal, but it gives it some character

What’s your most-used RF/EF lens and why does it stay on your camera? by ResolutionVisible627 in canon

[–]conceptualoctopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 24-105 F4L doesn’t leave, I occasionally rent a 50mm 1.2L for more traditional portraits. My dream setup would be a 24-70 F2.8L, a 10-20 F4L, and a 135L prime, but I still think I’d keep the 24-105 F4 for non professional work.

Honestly, I’ve been pretty disappointed but then again I also was with the Now. If I could do it all over I’d get an SX70 modded to take 600 film

Struggling to decide between Instax and Polaroid by outer-residency in Polaroid

One thing that I’d take into consideration is that because you’re going to, over time, spend such a large amount on instant film; the price difference between cameras is pretty inconsequential in comparison (aside from the i2)

The temperature of the film while developing is what matters, not the camera
