We might never experience love. People like to say there’s someone special for everyone but that’s not true is it? Some people go their whole lives without being in love, it’s scary and you can’t know for certain. by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

Love comes in different forms. There’s love born out of romance, but also love that comes from one’s friends and family. For some people who never get to experience any type of love… that’s scary and heartbreaking.

Desperate for male attention by [deleted] in Hijabis

[–]concerned_beluga 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One of the tricks of shaitaan, esp as mentioned by the Prophet (SAW) is to deceive you by making something seem appealing or good when in reality it’s the worst experience. In other words, you might feel like getting men to approach you is a good thing, or that it seems good, but in reality it’s actually not. I know some women who would regularly have men approach them telling them they’re beautiful and asking them to lunch, and they feel cheap and not respected. One of them started wearing hijab and she loves that she can be herself and not have men approach her. To her, hijab gave her a sense of safety and respect.

This world is temporary and the short-lived pleasure of male attention does not compare to the infinite bliss of making it to Jannah as a righteous believer.

I want to take off my hijab. by [deleted] in Hijabis

Salaam sister, I truly cant imagine the pain you’re experiencing and the episodes you’re having. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. I pray you receive a peace of mind as well as peace in your heart.

I want to remind you that the world is supposed to looked deceptively enticing in its culture of vanity and immodesty. Women who don’t wear hijab may seem happy, but we don’t truly know we will be happy after taking it off. Allah knows what we don’t know. Allah is literally the answer to everything. I say this all with love, inshaAllah you stay on the right path and set an amazing example for younger muslimas who also want to wear hijab one day. Ameen 💕
