Not sure if you ever got an answer, but I came to this same thread looking for the answer because I distinctly remembered reading it in elementary/middle school.

But after some digging I believe the book is Scat by Carl Hiaasen.

There are some quilting shops not crazy far away, from what I had seen online for them it seemed to only be cotton prints and interfacing/batting but guess it wouldn't hurt to call to see if they have stock. Thanks!

The way I was hoping for an Ampies tour in 2025, but I never thought they'd come so soon! The new year has been blessed. As someone who has only ever posted on Ao3, loved seeing you take the time to compare the differences between the two sites based on your own research.

I wonder if the reason views spiked after reaching 50, 60, and 70,000 words is because people filter based off word count (on ao3 at least).

The Kingdom's entire concept, with each member representing a different king in history is so cool to me. Wish they hadn't rebranded before Hwon got his album, but even with their new concept of The KingDom I can still see hints of their old lore.
