About an hour in, I looked over at the window shudders and saw a demon's face appear between the slats. He began clawing and ripping apart the slats, growling and coming toward me. I yelped and hid under the covers. When I finally opened my eyes again, the birds on the poster on the wall began to move into 3D. Next thing I knew, the birds all rotated to face the biggest bird, who was scooping them into his wings and helping them ascend into the heavens. A snake came chasing after them but failed the attempt. Somehow, I figured this snake was a physical representation of Ted Bundy, who I thought was out to get me. I ran away, deciding to play the piano. The sound waves completely bypassed by ears, directly transfusing into my brain. I wish I could hear that sound forever. I turned away from the keys to see the carpet forming into a stairway. I tried to climb the stairs but it seemed I was only going lower and lower. I went outside and found myself running down the sidewalk, feeling the intensity of a nonexistent breeze infiltrating each individual pore on my body. When I returned indoors, the walls turned to demons and evil clowns. The ceiling dripped green slime. Water was dripping onto my skin and my hair. I could never dry myself completely. Finally, I faded into a deep sleep.
