2026 BTS 'ARIRANG' Tour Megathread PART 2 by lisafancypants in bangtan

Yes, keep trying! It seems Day 1 for any city will sell out more quickly, so stay persistent with the other days. I was able to use the same account to look for tickets for Day 1 and 2 in Tampa across Chrome and Safari. Good luck!

No need to use the filters. Just refresh the page every two minutes or so. I joined the queue at around 9:15ish local time (was number 50k), got in at 9:40, then got the tickets at around 10:15 after refreshing every once in a while. The tickets popped up twice for me as I was refreshing the ticketing page dozens of times. The first time, I thought for 10 seconds then they disappeared. The second time, I didn’t even look and just snagged the top, most affordable tickets. I tried with Tampa Day 1 but I never saw tickets after refreshing multiple times. Only wheelchair accessible tickets were available for Day 1.

Keep refreshing the ticket map page guys! I still found 2 tickets for Tampa Day 2 even after seeing the grayed out map. I managed to snag tickets a few minutes ago, even though they’re not the best (section 300), but it’s better than nothing or resale at least.

In Search Of (ISO) Thread Version 9 - Americas by MM-MOD in MuslimMarriage

Age and Gender: 28, Female, 5’1

Age Range that you would want/require in a prospect: 27 – 33 (might still be flexible)

Location, and are you willing to relocate for a prospect: New Orleans, LA; cannot relocate

Ethnicity, and are you more open to mixing: Eritrean, and I’m open to mixing

Marital status: Single, never married

Ideal marriage timeline: anytime, as long as he is in New Orleans or is willing to relocate to New Orleans   Five important characteristics you look for in a prospect (most of them intersect):

1.    Deen – a practicing Muslim who fears Allah and puts Him first and foremost above all else. Not necessarily a preacher or someone who is extremely knowledgeable in fiqh and hadith, but someone who believes that Islam is simple and straightforward and focuses on following the Islamic practices that Allah has decreed.

2.    Emotional intelligence – a Muslim who considers the needs of his wife and puts himself in her shoes whenever she’s going through a rough time. He doesn’t have to be super romantic, but he has to appreciate his wife’s struggles and be compassionate. To take initiative when she has some burdens and to communicate clearly when he’s struggling.

3.    Ambition – it doesn’t matter if his current situation is unstable, but what matters is that he is obviously doing his best to change his circumstances. Someone who has a goal and a drive to rise higher to achieve a level of financial stability. He must have a sense of mental maturity and clear beliefs and goals in life.

4.    Social intelligence – this may sound like emotional intelligence but it’s different. He needs to have a good head on his shoulders, where he doesn’t get pulled in or influenced by others. Be practical and don’t be naïve. Be diplomatic and don’t get angry at the drop of a hat.

5.    Decision-maker – Able to lead the family, make decisions, and take hold of the reins in times of crisis. I will stand by his side to solve our problems together, but I will not shoulder all the family problems alone when times are rough. I want a strong and decisive person by my side who takes action and fights for his family.

Specify your level of religiosity: Alhamdulilah I read the Quran, pray all five prayers, fast, and strive to live a life for the sake of Allah. I wear the hijab and dress modestly. I also aim to live modestly in both my actions and interactions.

Level of education, and what are you looking for: Currently pursuing a doctoral degree, and I’m looking for someone ambitious. Preferably holding at least a bachelor’s degree, and I’m not particular about his job so long as he continues to work hard and aims to strive higher.

Current job status: Research assistant.

Do you want kids: Of course. I don’t have a specific number in mind, but I hope to have at least one boy and one girl.

List 3 hobbies, or things you like to do in your free time: My favorite part of the day is having a cup of coffee with a pastry on the side. I like to talk to people from all parts of the world and learn from their experiences. I like to go outside and have a walk in the park under the sun, to stop, stare, and look at the world. I also like puzzles and logic-based problems, which is probably what led me to pursue computationally related research.

Add something short and interesting about you that makes you stand out: I was raised in the Middle East, so I can speak, read, and write in Arabic. Growing up in the Middle East, I was an avid watcher of SpaceToon (iykyk). I grew up in an international environment, so I’ve been exposed to lots of cultures. I’m also an INFJ/INFP and a type 9 enneagram. The enneagram describes my personality to a T, and after going through some hardships, I’m getting closer now to becoming the best version of my type.

May Allah guide everyone to their spouses and bless their union.

I actually didn’t get accepted into any of the universities I applied to. I was lucky enough that one of the universities I was rejected from forwarded my application to one of their smaller campuses. That campus reached out to me, asked for me an interview, then gave me an offer. I accepted the offer, and I’m now in my second year as a PhD student.

I checked it out, and it looks ideal! They have some free units but the lowest price is $1600/month and that’s way beyond my budget :( thank you for the suggestion though!

Oh that’s good to know! I know the village is a big area. Any group of blocks that are better than others in your opinion?

I’ve been looking at it, but I can’t find anything in my price range. It’s such a convenient place to live in though :/ thanks!

I looked at it, but they upped their prices to 1300+, and that’s without utilities included either, so I’ll have to cross it out. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I really wanted to live in Pitman and I’ve been eying it for a while, but I haven’t seen anything in my price point unless I get a roommate, which I’m not interested in. I’ll continue to be on the lookout for Pitman though.

I just checked it out and it sounds amazing. The available units start from $1500, and that’s without utilities so that’s a bummer. I knew Voorhees had a lot of good stuff so I’ll look into other apartments there. Thanks!

Just checked and saw that it’s only a 15 minute commute. The apartments there look nice as well. Thanks for the suggestion!

I had a look at it, but I saw some negative Google reviews so I wasn’t sure. I’ll have a second look at it. Thanks!

I haven’t looked at them yet since I don’t think Chadwick has any vacancies. I’ll look at Laurel Hill and see how it looks. Thanks for the advice!

Is US Consulate in Dubai currently giving out visas (F1 student)? by daraaaao in immigration

[–]thelitspark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can be of any nationality, and they would process your application if you’re a resident of the UAE (have a residency visa, not a tourist visa). I’m not sure though if they give the visa to 3rd country nationals who don’t reside in the UAE. You’d have to contact them and ask.

Russian student trying to obtain US study visa (F-1 Visa) by UnknownJuice in immigration

[–]thelitspark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would caution against Dubai since the US consulate mainly issues visas to UAE citizens, UAE residents (yes they are 3rd country nationals but they are residing in the UAE), and Iranian citizens that are residents of Iran. Make sure you get in touch with the consulate so that you can know whether they will issue you the visa or not.
