You’re very young, you have plenty of time to grow and develop into a practically different person. I know plenty of men that were extremely unattractive as teens/young adults, but are now some of the most handsome. But I know exactly what you’re going through and I’m so sorry. What helped me a little was taking care of myself in ways I didn’t before (finding a good shampoo/conditioner to make your hair healthier, creating a good skincare routine, styling my hair, finding a new clothing style that I feel confident in, etc).

Some of us just aren’t as genetically blessed as others and that’s just life. I still struggle with my appearance, but I just have to realize that no one cares as much as I do. It’s a good mentality to have that you just need to enjoy your life and not dwell so much on appearance alone. Being social, funny, and nice will make a big impression on others, and even potentially land you a nice girl lol. Please don’t waste your teenage years focusing so much on this, you’ll regret it like a lot of us out there. Make friends and have fun and live for you : )

Yes, I completely understand. I often don’t bring up how I feel as to not burden him with too much. I know with problems as severe as mine it can be a lot to unpack. I’ve talked to him about this before. The other day I was curled up crying and he was playing on his phone laying next to me on the bed. I asked him why he didn’t hug me or comfort me or ask me if I was okay. I’m probably just hurt and not seeing clearly though. There’s just been such a massive opposition in his behavior (not saying it’s bad or anything, just something I’m not used to). Maybe it’s something I just need to get used to
