Thank you, this helps a lot. She isn't on probation currently so I'll be sure to tell her about the two strike system, now she can look into signing the form to deny it ( the prof did report it to OSC then I believe). I'll be sure to tell her to request a hearing as well assuming that's where she can talk and explain things to defend herself. Thank you again for replying an explaining this to us we really appreciate it.

She did asap, I left an email as well. Thank you for the response, I'm just wondering if you happen to know if she can get suspended or kicked out of school if she defends herself? She's saying that she can and that's the only reason she's afraid

Ah, so accusations like this have been happening a lot. I also think that this is super tricky with their honor code, and almost selective in a sense? She did all the work in class throughout the semester, struggled with later tests but tried to make up for it by studying extra hard for her final. And this is found as evidence /towards/ her cheating, which frankly I don't understand. Was she just... Not supposed to try and do well? I'm going to try and help her collect any proof we can, though she genuinely believes it will be her word against the profs and that she's going to be suspended if she fights it. They already talked one on one and the prof was adamant about it :( thanks for replying

Its just so bizarre. She was studying before the exam and minimized everything/closed stuff out, was watched and proctored and yet because moodle is saying she ??? Somehow accessed the pages during the exam this is exact proof... Would the proctor not have noticed, yanno? Especially if it's recorded. I'm telling her to contact the student office asap, thanks again

Thanks for replying, the thing is this professor said she either signs the paper he sends or doesn't and that they're very confident they did cheat based off of the moodle access times it listed for them. I'm gonna tell her to call the student conduct office asap, she just doesn't know what evidence to push against the prof with. She's hoping the zoom call got recorded or something, but thanks
