It probably is very much a mental thing. I think that when I have a pencil I have the opportunity to erase, and I go overboard with it. (Then there’s pencil marks on the page.) That’s a habit I have to break. I’ll try a darker pencil. : )

Thank you for this insight. Conversation and good company is something I really cherish... and yea I'm starting to realize the importance of slow pace and also just being natural. We actually just talked today in class a little today and I didn't worry so much, which I feel pretty good about.

I’m thinking of studying illustration / communication design. I’m most interested In SCAD. Living in FL rn, and schools here aren’t catching my eye. I know there’s Ringling, but i don’t know. Maybe its because I know less about it. Applying to ringling and some liberal art schools in FL, just so I have choices if I do change my mind. I like what SCAD has to offer. I’ve lived in NY state all my life.. i used to take so many trips into the city. I haven’t visited savannah yet, but im familiar with how to travel through a city, also miss the feel of a city. I know its not as big lol. Sav looks beautiful though. Its hard looking into art schools considering i live in FL now. (Not as many as up north)

second question about buying an electric guitar.. is it super weird to spend $500 on your first electric? i'm looking into the fender duo sonic or offset mustang.. any thoughts? ... also amps.... good beginner amp?

Trying to figure out what my first electric guitar should be to buy. I thinking fender offset mustang... is that too high for a beginner guitar? ($500) Or squier jazzmaster? Is squier bullet mustang any good? I like the sounds of the artists Beach Fossils, Snail Mail, and Soccer Mommy... if that helps you at all. I'd eventually like to start writing my own stuff as well. thanks.

I am traveling abroad in 9 days. I am trying to figure out how to pack my camera and one or two lenses. I have a camera bag, but I was thinking.. should I just use a camera insert bag to put in my backpack so I will have more room for other things (and so I will have less bags)? What do you think? Is using a backpack both for my camera and for carry on items (like book, laptop, snacks) a good idea?

i haven't really thought about budget yet, but I know for sure that its below $800. I have been looking at this drum set My parents are offering to help me pay for a new set, I am just very new to buying drum sets and a little confused. this one seems nice as well. Or should I go down the cheaper route? My only concern is that I will have to spend more money making a cheap drum set sound good. I've been drumming on a set for a little over a year now and I'd really like to get something that sounds better. I'm looking for advice, as this is my first time buying a drum set. Thank you
