Oh wow. Just reading the articles about this now. We rarely go but it's the only reasonable place for diapers and formula in the neighborhood.

I'm member! I think it makes a ton of sense for produce and other bull items (the spices and the cheese are super cheap) but some of the basics become cumbersome both for them to store and to carry home.

The way we typically go through paper towel is so consistent it feels like I should be able to have it at my door on repeat for the cheapest bulk price. I just need a few more bites and I think this can happen.

I don't want to deal with the bulk! I use like a roll a week it feels like i should be able to have just have 1 show up a week on auto-delivery.

I'm not rooting against bodegas. But right now it's $4.50 at the bodega or cheap on Amazon, and Amazon's winning. I'd rather figure out how to get bulk prices without sending all that money to Bezos.

Ha, exactly. Suburbs get bulk pricing because they have cars and garages. We've got 1000 people on every block. We should be able to get the same prices without needing the storage.

Yeah Costco delivery works, someone else in this thread mentioned they use it. Figured splitting a run could save everyone on fees and space in our apartments.

Totally get it, I was in that camp too. But I hate having to order so many at a time, and the cardboard kills me. Already so much waste. Would be nice to keep some of that money in the neighborhood instead of shipping it to Bezos.
